Colle di Val d’Elsa

Colle di Val d’Elsa is a town in the center of Tuscany on the hills of the Senese Chianti, between Florence and Siena, close to San Gimignano and Volterra.
The town is divided in three parts, the historic center “Borgo di Santa Caterina”, “Castello” and the lower part called “il Piano”.
Its life has always been linked to the river “Elsa” from which it takes its name (the Elsa River Natural Park is worth a visit).
