{"id":6152,"date":"2020-09-17T01:16:03","date_gmt":"2020-09-16T23:16:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.visitcolledivaldelsa.com\/museo-del-cristallo\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T22:54:42","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T21:54:42","slug":"crystal-museum","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.visitcolledivaldelsa.com\/en\/crystal-museum\/","title":{"rendered":"Crystal Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row row_content_width=&#8221;grid&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>Crystal Museum<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1600122626306{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]The museum is in Boschi Area (in the lower part of the city), a renewed area where one of the furnaces of the Cristalleria and Vetreria Schmidt or former Vetreria Boschi (1800) was located.<\/p>\n<p>The itinerary reconstructs the history of the local glass industry from the beginning of the 19th century through to the creation of 24% lead crystal up to today with the creation of contemporary works of art.<\/p>\n<p>A large section was dedicated to design products born from collaborations between local companies, famous designers and crystal engraving, an art handed down by generations of families from Colle.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the main works present:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The monstrance; one of the most prestigious pieces of the exhibition.
